Charlie is running a session on the latest products that are coming out for Aidacare from Sunrise medical. Come get hands on with products and learn about the newest light rehab Jay cushions and power chairs from Charlie the account manager for Sunrise Medical in Queensland.

WORKSHOP 2. POWERCHAIRS & MOBILITY – MANUAL TO POWERED!
The stock we are looking at is the Whill C2, Whill F, Pride Litestream folding Carbon Fibre and Evoke 2 wheelchair with power assist. This is a range on power devices that are progressive in nature but with a focus on travel, comfort and ability to pull apart/fold.

WORKSHOP 3. PATIENT HANDLING – LIFTERS & SLINGS (FULL HOIST, KERA SIT2SIT & PRISM GANTRY)
In this session, attendees will explore a range of Patient Handling Equipment including the Kera sit2sit Hoist, Prism Gantry, and a new patient turner. This session is designed to be interactive and allow attendees the opportunity to get hands on with the equipment

We are excited to give you a sneak peek into some new items joining the Aidacare range soon. Some of these products will be hitting the shelves soon and some are in the very early stages of development and review. The purpose of this session is to run through some of these product applications and see how they can fit into your daily prescribing needs. We are very open to feedback and discussion as to how these can be altered or changed to better suit your client’s needs.

Charlie has a wealth of experience working with clients that require complex seating and mobility assistive technology. He worked for over 6 years with a supplier in New Zealand working in the paediatric space, setting up complex standers and postual equipment as well as with Adults providing manual and power wheelchairs. He has a huge passion for helping clients live their best life and realises that good seating and mobility technology can make a huge difference to a client’s life.
Richard Shepherd
CEO, HT Systems
HT Systems was founded 5 years ago to develop and now manufacture the Kera sit2sit hoist.
Richard is an ex-banker looking to redeem his soul.
Since the company’s inception, Richard and the HT Systems team has worked closely with health professionals, people with disabilities and their families to develop a strong understanding of their transfer needs and what works for them.
It may seem like a cliché, but the truth is that we enjoy the special feeling that we get when we see our products transforming people’s lives; where a person can stay in their home and much of the burden of care on their family is removed, or in a care facility where caregivers are freed up to care.

Tish Huijbregts completed her Master of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Human Kinetics degrees in Canada. She had experience in Acute, Aged, Community, and Palliative Care. Tish is passionate about assistive equipment and technologies that can make a difference to people’s lives.
Luke Sedgwick
Product Manager (National), Aidacare
Luke has been with Aidacare for 10 years in operational and product development roles. In his role as a product manager, he manages a team of engineers and designers who scout the market for new ideas through design and sourcing. Luke is passionate about providing solutions to make someone’s day-to-day life easier. Luke and his team regularly visit their manufacturing partners overseas to implement designs, review samples and update products to ensure they are the best fit for users. Through his session, Luke will detail how market feedback (especially from therapists!) drives change and product development at Aidacare.
