Off-Roading: Choose Your Drive
Join the Aidacare team to test out NEW offroad mobility products.
This practical education session will be aimed at giving you a thorough understanding of the key differences between different types of offroad mobility. The sessions focus will be on exploring the latest powered technology that is on the market, and comparing different powered mobility drive types. You will have the opportunity to drive and put through its paces, new technology that is on offer from a variety of wheelchair suppliers. You wil get to trial new wheelchairs from suppliers such as Magic mobility, Permobil and Pride/Quantum.
Through this practical session it is anticipated you will gain a greater understanding of the key advantages and limitations different offroad mobility drive types offer your end users.

PRESENTERS
Daniel Smith
Occupational Therapist
Daniel is an Occupational Therapist, with a passion for all things customised mobility aids.
Daniel has been working with Aidacare for almost 5 years as a complex equipment specialist. Prior to this Daniel was working as a community occupational therapist. Daniel Specialises in Powered mobility.
Outside of working, Daniels time is taken up by his 9 month old daughter Adelaide.
Steven Riley
Complex Equipment Specialist
Steven is our newest member to the Complex Rehab team at Aidacare. Having started with Aidacare in January 2024, prior to this Steven worked for an equipment manufacturer Sunrise Medical for around 5 years as the manager of commercial team in Australia. Primarily, Steven focused on dealer support, assisting with complex trials in the field and new equipment education sessions for dealer/therapist networks.
In Steven’s spare time he tries to hit the outdoors as often as possible, camping or touring with the family.
