Master Spex Seating!

This is a full day highly interactive workshop for those clinicians that work within the

complex wheelchair seating space and wish to know more about the Spex Seating

system.

The purpose of this workshop is to give you an opportunity to get hands-on with the Spex

Seating range, learn about their applications to wheelchair seating and their ability to

meet the demands of a range of postural asymmetries.

• Introducing the Shaperator – a ground-breaking platform that helps therapists and

complex seating representatives translate their MAT findings to Spex Seating Products.

You will learn how to use the software to choose, configure and visualise wheelchair

seating and how to share them with your product specialist for an effective trial.

• Explore the Spex Seating range with a particular focus on cushions, back supports, head

supports, and lateral trunk positioning supports. The aim is to learn their clinical

application to wheelchair seating, understand the difference between the styles, and

develop confidence in working with the products.

Learn the basic adjustments to fine tune Spex Seating products and their interplay with standard manual and powered wheelchair bases.

* To participate in the Shaperator training please bring a laptop or tablet.
