Rika Millen
Permobil Clinical Services Specialist | Occupational Therapist
Rika Millen joined Permobil in May 2022, as a Clinical Services Specialist. After graduating from Western Sydney University in 2014, with a Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Occupational Therapy, Rika began working at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. After rotating through a range of clinical areas, Rika moved into the Spinal Injuries Unit, where her passion for seating and assistive technology was ignited. Rika has since worked closely with clients and therapists across Seating Clinic, Spinal Pressure Care Clinic and the Spinal Injuries Unit to devise customised seating solutions to enable clients to reach their goals. Most recently working as the OT Team Leader in the Spinal Injuries Unit, Rika developed a passion for teaching and mentoring clinicians, which she hopes to develop and expand on in her new role at Permobil. Outside of work you’ll find Rika running, hiking, skiing or working on her golf handy cap.

Jamie Cockle
Clinical Education
Jamie completed his training in Physiotherapy at Cardiff University, UK and specialised immediately in Paediatrics. He gained a varied clinical experience during his years working as a Paediatric Physiotherapist within the NHS, finding particular interest in Neurological disability and rehabilitation. These experiences enabled him to work closely with a diverse range of clients understanding not only their needs, but the families that support them. He is passionate about Paediatrics and ensuring all children, no matter of their ability, have opportunities to be well supported as they grow and develop. Providing training and support in his role as a Clinical Educator, Jamie hopes to assist stakeholders better understand the principles behind 24 hour postural management for children, to optimise their health and happiness and to shape better lives.
Kathryn Townsend
Occupational Therapist
Kathryn is a highly experienced occupational therapist working in a community health setting. She is a trained occupational therapy driver assessor with a keen interest in the assessment and training of powered mobility device users. Kathryn is passionate about the way powered mobility device use can positively impact on quality of life and community participation. She is co-author of the Powered Mobility Device Assessment and Training Tool (PoMoDATT). She has conducted many workshops and conference presentations and has published articles about powered mobility device use.
Andrew Rousham
Business Development Manager
Andrew Rousham has over 25 years’ experience in the assistive technology industry. He started his career as an assistive technology consultant in Canada. He remained in that role for 7 years, before moving to Invacare Canada as a Territory Business Manager. In 2005, Andrew transferred to Invacare Australia, eventually becoming the National Sales Manager. In 2012, Andrew decided to return to his dealer beginnings by joining GTK, an assistive technology supplier based in Sydney. Andrew spent 7 years at GTK based at their Newcastle site. As a consultant at one of NSW’s leading AT suppliers, Andrew has worked with all the major suppliers’ products. He has extensive experience with Ki Mobility, Raz Design, and Ride Design Product. Andrew has been with Paragon Mobility since July 2019 and is based in Sydney. He works to assist and support dealers and prescribers across the country.
Adrian Cominotto
Product Specialist & General Manager
Adrian has worked with Seating Matters since 2014 and is closely involved in product development, research and clinical education. He has extensive experience in complex seating prescription, working with clients and patients in NDIS, acute and aged care settings. Adrian has a passion for clinical education and training. He has presented at numerous conferences including the Occupational Therapy Australia Conference and QBig.

Scott Staunton
REHAB ENGINEER
Originally from the UK and with a background of Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Engineering Scott brings with him over 29 years of knowledge working in these respective fields. Trained with the NHS as a Rehabilitation Engineer from 2003 Scott has experience in the management of various client populations with regards to the provision of appropriate seating, mobility and pressure reducing equipment. In 2008, Scott moved to Australia where he has worked with various equipment suppliers helping to support clients, carers and therapists to help bring a holistic approach to the provision of assistive technology. Scott has a passion for the assessment and management of client’s with complex seating and mobility needs, ensuring equipment issued has a positive outcome in relation to the needs of his clients.
Lisa Bidgood
Occupational Therapist
Lisa began working as an Occupational Therapist after graduating from LaTrobe University, Melbourne in 2005, and has recently relocated from Sydney to work as part of the Sunrise Medical Clinical Hub in Queensland.
Tilly Brook
Occupational Therapist
Tilly has travelled the world in her 10+ year career as an Occupational Therapist working within the assistive technology industry. Tilly is currently the Clinical Hub Team Leader where she has assisted in the development of the Sunrise Medical Australia clinical services. She provides education to clinicians around Australia and assists in the prescription of wheelchair and seating for clients with complex seating needs.
